The role of a Medefer registrar is to clerk patients via telephone assessments You will not be responsible for the patients’ treatment or make any medical decisions. Calls will be booked for you in advance around your preferred availability, including weekdays/evenings/weekends Registrars take detailed patient history which will support the consultant in forming a management plan for patients A consultant will be responsible for all clinical decision making, but will need registrar assistance for more detailed information following a GP referral to the Virtual Hospital
